A Tehran-based café has set to commemorate the late-great Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami, screening his ‘Certified Copy’.

Kiarostami’s ‘Certified Copy’ is scheduled to have a screening at Tehran’s Godfather Café on March 8, 2018.

The film narrates the story of two strangers while touring Tuscany, Italy.

They travel to a nearby town, get coffee, visit a museum and pretend to be recently married in what turns out to be a popular wedding destination.

As the two strangers get to know each other more and more, it becomes clear that there is more to the new relationship developing.

The 2010 romance drama brought the Cannes Best Actress Award to the French celebrated actress Binoche.
